Join us as trained historian Leslie Goddard presents a first-person portrayal of Violet Jessop, survivor of both sinking’s of the Titanic (1912) and Britannica (1916). Just 24 years of age at the time of the voyage, Violet was working as a stewardess on the luxury ship and was ordered up on deck to give instructions to non-English speaking passengers on the night of the sinking. Written and performed by Leslie, she tells unforgettable stories of terrifying disasters straight from Jessop’s point of view. Based on a true story she’ll give you a firsthand look into that fateful night.
